Restore a deleted receptionist from Trash before it is permanently purged.
Restoring a deleted agent
Deleted agents are soft-deleted and can be recovered within your data retention period (default: 30 days).
Go to Settings from the user menu (top-right corner).
Open the Trash section.
Find your deleted agent in the list.
Click
Restore.The agent returns to your agent list in
Draftstatus with its previous configuration intact.
After restoring: The agent's phone number and any widget keys are not automatically restored. You need to provision a new phone number and redeploy the agent before it can handle calls again.
What happens if restore fails?
If the agent was purged while you were trying to restore it, you will see the error: "Agent was purged before restore could complete. Create a new agent instead." In this case the agent cannot be recovered.
If your plan's agent limit is already reached, restore will be blocked with the message: "Agent limit reached. Your plan allows up to [N] active agent(s). Deactivate or delete another agent first." Deactivate or delete a different agent, then try again.
Retention countdown
Each deleted agent in Trash shows a countdown timer. Once the retention period expires, the agent is permanently purged and cannot be recovered under any circumstances.
Immediate purge
Clicking Purge in the Trash immediately and permanently deletes the agent. This cannot be undone. Only click Purge if you are certain you do not need the agent.
Prevention
The delete button is in a Danger zone section at the bottom of the agent overview, behind a confirmation dialog.
Consider setting the agent to
Inactiveinstead of deleting it if you might need it again later. Inactive agents retain their phone number and configuration.
