Uploading documents for your agent
Organization-level knowledge
The Knowledge page (in the Build section of the sidebar) is your organization-wide document library. Documents uploaded here can be shared across multiple agents.
What you see
Document title
Source (file upload or URL)
File size
Number of chunks (how the document was split for retrieval)
Which agents have access
Storage bar showing used vs. plan limit (MB)
Uploading documents
Go to Knowledge in the sidebar.
Click Upload.
Choose a file or paste a URL.
Select which agents should have access to this document.
The document is processed into embeddings for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
Agent-level knowledge
Each agent also has a Knowledge sub-page showing only the documents attached to that specific agent. You can upload directly from there too.
How agents use knowledge
During a call, when a caller asks a question, your agent searches the knowledge base for relevant content. If it finds a match, it uses that information to answer. The call detail page shows knowledge citations so you can verify what was referenced.
Storage limits
Your plan determines the maximum knowledge storage in MB. The storage bar on the Knowledge page shows current usage. If you exceed the limit, uploads are blocked until you remove documents or upgrade.
Supported formats
Upload text-based documents such as PDFs, Word documents, or plain text files. The system extracts and indexes the content for retrieval.
