Pricing FAQ
Common questions about plans, pricing, usage limits, and overage charges on VoiceCraft.
How does billing work?
VoiceCraft bills on a monthly or annual cycle. Your plan includes a set number of call minutes. Usage is tracked in real time and reported to Stripe.
What counts toward my usage?
Call minutes (inbound and outbound) and SMS activity are metered. Test calls from the browser also count toward your usage.
What happens if I exceed my included minutes?
You are charged an overage rate per minute for usage beyond your plan's included minutes. The overage rate is shown on the Billing page. VoiceCraft sends you a notification when you reach 80% of your included minutes, again when you reach 100%, and again at 150% so you can manage usage before charges accumulate further.
Can I switch plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrading takes effect immediately. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period. If the lower plan has fewer agent slots than you currently use, you may need to deactivate agents first.
What happens if I cancel?
Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your agents are paused and stop accepting calls. Your data is preserved and accessible.
Can I set a spending cap?
Yes. Go to Billing and set a Daily spend cap to limit daily overage charges. When the cap is reached, calls go to voicemail for the rest of that day. The cap resets at midnight. Leave the field empty to use your plan's default cap.
Do I get charged during the free trial?
No. Pro and Business plans include a 14-day free trial with 50 minutes at no cost. You are only charged after the trial ends and your subscription activates.
What is the Free plan?
The Free plan gives you 50 one-time test minutes for browser calls only. It does not include a phone number or real inbound calls. There is no time limit on the Free plan — the 50 minutes are a one-time allowance, not a recurring monthly amount.
